Rachel grew up in East Longmeadow, MA and began gymnastics at the age of 4. She has 12 years of competitive experience, 4 of which she was a Level 10. In her years competing, she won several State Championships, and even qualified for Level 10 Regionals. Rachel has 17 years of coaching experience including toddlers, preschool, recreational classes, and competitive team. She has a daughter, Hayley, who shares the same love for the sport. Rachel currently goes to STCC as a Biology major with hopes of going on to research neurology.
Preschool, Rec, Team Coach
Brenda grew up in Springfield, MA and has been coaching for 7+ years. Being a fan of gymnastics, she spent numerous hours watching her youngest daughter being coached by Coach Rachel at Air Time. We were excited to hear that Brenda was interested in coaching. She altered her career from Human Resources to gymnastics coach. Brenda has a love for teaching children of any age, and has become one of our most popular coaches in the gym. She enjoys the art of dance and brings a touch of energy to the team girls to help with excitement and emotion. She resides in East Longmeadow, MA with her husband and two awesome daughters. Brenda is best known for her contagious laugh and has a lively coaching style.
Stephanie grew up in Haverhill, MA, and now resides in West Springfield. After watching the 1996 Olympics, she fell in love with the sport of gymnastics. During her competitive years in NH, she won multiple State Championships; most often on Beam, Floor, and All Around. When she was no longer able to compete, she coached at her home gym in NH for two years. She then went on to get an Associate’s Degree in Photography, and studied Animal Science at UMass Amherst. She has been part of the Air Time family since early 2016, where she says she feels right at home.
Team and Rec Coach
Meghan is a former gymnast. She started at 3 years old and training for 9 years, competing all the way through level 5. While training in gymnastics, Meghan also danced in jazz and tap for 15 years. She is married and a mother of five, fours girls and a boy. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to church, reading and baking.
Preschool and Rec Coach
Ali grew up in East Longmeadow, MA and graduated from Worcester State University with a BA in Psychology, and went on to study at STCC to obtain her Occupational Therapy Degree. Currently, Ali continues her education at Bay Path College where she is obstaining her Masters in Occupational therapy. At Worcester State, Ali ran track and field and holds many school records in the sprints and hurdle races. Through this experience, Ali brings Air Time a plethora of conditioning, strengthening, and agility skills to help each gymnast reach her full potential. Throughout Ali's earlier years, she was actively involved in her sister's gymnastics competitions. She then accumulated an ample amount of knowledge and developed an interest in teaching gymnastics. Ali has been part of Air Time's coaching team for the past 5 years and enjoys every minute with her students. With her mom as a mentor, she has learned the proper skills, techniques, and appropriate gymnastics regimens to become an excellent asset to the Air Time family.
Jacob was born in Florida but has lived in Massachusetts for most of his life. As a youth, he was involved in many sports like baseball, soccer, taekwondo, and parkour. He was instantly taken with Ninja Warrior competitions and is thrilled to be able to instruct and coach today's youth in all the aspects of discipline and strength involved in Ninja Warrior activities. He absolutely loves seeing the look of satisfaction on the kids' faces as they reach their goals!
Madison has grown up in East Longmeadow, MA and has been involved in gymnastics since she was 4 years old. She was a competitive gymnast for over 10 years. Though she doesn't compete anymore, she still has a love for gymnastics. She has been participating in track and field in high school and has many first place titles in long jump, high jump, and shot put. Madison enjoys sharing her knowledge, strength and experiences with younger gymnasts. Madison brings her energy and fun to Fun Night as well as our summer camps. Her smile brings joy to the kids.
Summer Rec Coach
Tessa grew up in Schenectady, NY and was a competitive gymnast for 12 years. Once she moved to MA, she spent her last competitive year as an Air Time team member. In 2015 she started coaching recreational classes with us. She has interned at Stony Hill Elementary School, tutored 5th graders at Soul Road School, and will be attending Framingham State University as an Elementary Education major.
